Phyllis J. Featherstone is a New York City based award winning Fine Art photographer
specializing in landscape/cityscape and street photography. Her work has been exhibited
extensively in the east coast United States and has appeared in several publications. She is
interested in the expression of the "joy of life" and finding new meaning in patterns, forms,
shapes, surfaces, planes, movement, and color nuances. She works in black and white film
photography using traditional wet darkroom and in color digital photography using
contemporary ink jet printing processes.
She has taught art in public schools and tutored adults from her studio. After years of
experience in information technology, she has acquired many computer based skills which
have been used successfully in developing a line of photoshop based images.
